Tomball opens the scoring by capping off a 15 play drive with a TD run by Jalen Johnny, the extra point is good by Jacob Jordan. Cougars lead 7-0. Not to be out done the Cougar defense forces a fumble on the first offensive play for Caney Creek and they recover it in Caney Creek territory. The Cougars waste no time and strike quickly as Hunter Dunn connects with Cash Walker from 23 yards for the score and Jacob Jordan adds the extra point putting the Cougars up 14-0 at the end of the first.

Caney Creek gets on the board in the second quarter on a 51 yard long touchdown run. The extra point is no good, making it 14-6 Tomball. The Cougars respond, and again it is Dunn to Walker on the 80 yd bomb. Jordan was good on the extra point to make it 21-6.

Special teams gets in on the action with the onside kick recovery. Without hesitation the offense goes for it all on the first play and puts another touchdown on the board with a 37 yard pass from Dunn to JayRis Smith. Jordan tacks on the extra point and the Cougars lead 28-6.

The defense continues the Cougar momentum with a three and out series. The offense goes to work and in five short plays, yet again Dunn connects with a receiver and this time it is Jayden Grey on the reception from 37 yards out. Jordan knocks through the extra point and the Cougars take a commanding 35-6 lead into the locker room at the half.

On their second possession of the half Caney Creek scores with a QB sneak up the middle, this time the extra point is good making it 35-13 Tomball. With :21 seconds to go in the third quarter the Cougars respond with a score on a Evan Alaniz run from four yards out. There is a bad snap on the extra point try, making the score 41-13 at the end of three quarters.

Caney Creek uses up the majority of the fourth quarter with a 22 play drive capped off by a touchdown pass, the extra point is no good. The Cougars get the ball back and run one offensive play before taking a VICTORY knee to close it out.
